Narcissist Supreme: The Red Queen (Alice in Wonderland: 2010)

Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter made the new Alice in Wonderland.  Even if you did not care for it too much, you have to give those two props or OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!  I am just kidding.  My readers make this all worth it. 

The Red Queen is a violent, dominant tyrant whose ego is so big that her enormous head can barely contain her sense of self righteousness.  She is not exactly the woman you want to be hanging out with, but Hel-Bo makes her character in a standout, tickle-your-funny-bone performance.

New Moon Question??

I was just curious to know who attended the release parties last night, and who already has their copies.  I know I have mine!  However, don't hold it against me for not going out there with the masses to get it at midnight.  My place of choice?  Barnes and Noble in Humble, TX this afternoon.  The copy has this cute little dreamcatcher bag charm thing.  We will be talking about other movies soon, I swear.  It's release day, though, and you have to give me the chance to act like a crazy fan!  Just FYI: We will be starting to have giveaways/contests for those who would help make the site a success.  Sure, we can waste money on advertising, but why line the advertisers pockets when we could line your DVD players for helping spread the word!

In honor of tomorrow's release of New Moon on DVD, I thought I would bust a rhyme for all of you Twi-hard Stalkers..I mean fans. Honest! Pay no attention to the fingers crossed behind my back.

Twilight Teams Unite!

Give me a vampire,

With a heart of gold,

Frozen in time,

He will never grow old.

Those eyes, that skin,

His strength, and his smile,

If you want me to describe my feelings,

This could take awhile.

Give me a werewolf,

As warm as the sunlight,

Connor: No I ain't. Charlie Bronson's always got rope.

Murphy: What?

Connor: Yeah. He's got a lot of rope strapped around him in the movies, and they always end up using it.

Murphy: You've lost it, haven't ya?

Connor: No, I'm serious.

Murphy: Me too. That's stupid. Name one thing you gonna need a rope for.

Connor: You don't fuckin' know what you're gonna need it for. They just always need it.

Murphy: What's this 'they' shit? This isn't a movie.

Connor: Oh, right.

[picks up large knife out of Murphy's bag]

Corey Haim Found Dead

Most of you know by now that Corey Haim was found dead this morning from what they say could be a drug overdose, but we do not know for sure until the coroner's report comes back.  However, I think I can speak for everyone when I say RIP COREY!  My condolences to the family, and his many friends.

I'm so sad!  All my childhood crushes are dying! 

I found this video on YouTube, and thought it was a fitting way to smile through the sadness.  It was the cutest part of The Lost Boys!
